Accessorise your Lingerie with New Look - Week 4

 Total Price £33.97

It's time for the final instalment of my 4-part 'New Look lingerie lessons', bringing you gorgeous ideas on how to mix and match your knickers with your stilettos and doing it all on a budget. Being the last one, I also thought I'd raid the sale section of the New Look website and make it the cheapest yet - you can get hold of everything in this look for less than £35! Just make sure to be quick and snap them up before they're gone...

Lipstick red and leopard print is a classic combination, so rather than opt for the matching knickers, I teamed with red satin bra (£11.99) with some a gorgeous New Look leopard print brief (£3.00, sale price) that feature a small red bow detail - perfect for tying the look together. Also on sale are these gorgeous red stiletto high heels with peep-toes and ankle straps, currently priced at just £12.99! For the finishing touch, add these New Look red and brown dangling feather earrings (£5.99) and a swipe of red lipstick and you're done... red hot!

Accessorise your Lingerie with New Look - Week 3

 Total Price £49.95

It's time for the third in my 4-week series of New Look lingerie lessons, showing you that 'matching' doesn't always mean buying the set. This class combination of navy blue and cream is the cheapest yet, coming in at under £50 - yes, even including the shoes! In another store you'd normally only get the bra and knickers for that price and the great thing about these accessories is that they can be mixed-and-matched with all of your other outfits when the lingerie is in the wash, so they're excellent value for money.

I loved these New Look navy and cream floral lace knickers the moment I saw them and I loved the price even more - only £2.99! The 'super push up' bra in navy satin (£12.99) has a small, cream bow centre that makes it a subtle but perfect match. Then throw in some New Look navy satin heels with cream piping for just £22.99, a gorgeous beaded bow hair clip in cream for £4.99 and some show-stopping chandelier earrings in navy blue for £5.99 and your outfit is complete! Going out? Pop a navy blue satin dress over the top with a cream belt - this classic colour combination is very chic and a great alternative to black and white!

Competition: Win a Luxury Lingerie Set!

Visit www.estylingerie.com to subscribe to the newsletter by the end of November 2011 and all this could be yours!

There's nothing I love more than lingerie and whilst there are plenty of amazing, chain-store brands out there (La Senza, Agent Provocateur and Myla to name but a few) it's the independent designer brands that really catch my eye. There are loads of individuals out there designing everything from luxury bra sets to cute pasties and eyemasks, but without the massive advertising budget that all of the major lingerie companies have unfortunately these smaller brands can often go completely unnoticed by the general public.

That's where Esty Lingerie comes in - currently stocking 18 independent designer brands and set to reach 30 by early 2012, Esty Lingerie is a haven for luxurious, unique lingerie that you simply cannot find on the high-street. From the vintage-inspired sets of Lilly Wiggler Couture to the hand-painted knickers by I Am Alicia Rose, every piece is lovingly handmade with the utmost care and attention so you can be sure you're receiving something that is premium quality, ethically made and wonderfully unique.

This Christmas, I'm giving one of you the chance to win the gorgeous lingerie set pictured above. I've teamed with four of the independent designers currently selling through Esty Lingerie to create a 4-piece collection in baby pink that looks absolutely beautiful worn as a matching set, or the individual pieces can be mixed-and-matched with what's already in your lingerie drawer for hundreds of unique looks.

Sass A Frass Designs has kindly offered up a set of their Princess nipple pasties, made from baby pink satin and adorned with sequins and Swarovski crystals. They're supplied with double-sided lingerie tape and can be worn again and again!

From JL Weddings comes the Cami garter in ivory Venetian lace with a gorgeous pink bow, feather and cameo centre that was designed as a bridal piece but looks equally stunning for any special occasion!

Wear them with the beautiful tie-side knickers from the Signature collection by Jennifer Pierre which are handmade from gorgeous, embroidered lace for a delicate, feminine touch.

Last but not least, the winner will also be receiving the pictured Jasmin sleep mask by new brand in store Love Me Sugar. I've received this already as it's one size fits all (adjustable elastic strap) and have to say I'm blown away by the quality - this is definitely not your everyday eyemask you can pick up in La Senza for a fiver! It's gorgeously thick and padded to block out all of the light and comes in its own satin storage bag to keep it looking perfect and new for ages.

So, how to win? All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this four piece lingerie set is to subscribe to the Esty Lingerie newsletter by November 30th (the picture does say the 31st but this doesn't actually exist - my mistake)! Newsletter subscribers receive notifications whenever we have a new brand in store, a great deal or offer on or when we're running yet another of our very regular competitions! If you're already subscribed you can still enter - simply drop me an email at info@estylingerie.com and I'll put your name into the draw. The winner will be announced on December 1st and the prize will be handmade to order in the winner's chosen sizes.

Accessorise your Lingerie with New Look - Week 2

 Total Price £91.95

Last week I posted the first in a four-part series of 'lingerie lessons', using New Look as an example, on which accessories to team with your lingerie so that you look just as good at the end of the day when you step out of your clothes as you did in them! Oh, and without spending a fortune either.

This week I wanted to show you an example of how to turn the classic black set into a classy black set, with the help of some elegant gold accessories. This simple but pretty black lace-overlay bra at New Look is an absolute wardrobe staple and one you can't afford not to own at just £11.99. I thought the black hipster brief was a perfect match with its lacey trim and ribbon bows, not to mention it's £2.99 price tag (and currently on offer at 3 for £7).

I recently saw some gorgeous fashion images of suspenders adorned with loads of sparkling brooches and I thought it was a great and very unique idea! It inspired me to team the simplistic bra with a beautiful butterfly-shaped diamante brooch, only £4.99, that adds a touch of glamour and can also be worn on a dress, hat or scarf for loads of different looks. Finish the look off with some dangling gold earrings (£6.99) and these perfectly-matched New Look black and gold heels (£64.99), pop a little black dress over the top and you're party ready!

Pretty nightwear at Oysho

Back in September I wrote about the launch of Oysho's online store for us UK girls, or at least for those who happen to wear a B-cup. However I've just popped back to their website and there are now some pretty new nightwear pieces in store which everyone can wear regardless of cup size. I've recently become addicted to lace bodies and it looks like I might have to add another one to my collection with this pretty, black floral design...

Oysho Lace Body, £25.99
Oysho black flocked tulle babydoll, £21.99
Oysho deep rose lace nightdress, £21.99
Oysho navy & black polkadot babydoll, £19.99

New DD+ luxury bras, bustiers and shapewear at La Senza

I recently won a £50 La Senza gift voucher which just arrived half an hour ago so of course I was straight onto the La Senza website to see what my favourite high-street lingerie retailer had to offer. I had a quick peek when I originally heard that I had won the voucher but in the past few days they've added some stunning new pieces that are all available in DD+ sizes.

La Senza Marilyn Babydoll & Brief set, £45
I think I had my heart set on this one from the second I saw it! La Senza do make gorgeous underwear, but this piece is so luxurious that I would have assumed it was from a far more expensive brand if I didn't know better. It's a pale grey bustier-style babydoll with unusual, diamond-shaped lace panels, lace trim and lace-overlay on the cups. It also includes a matching brief and suspenders that are most likely removeable (I don't think I've seen attached suspenders on anything from La Senza) if you prefer it without.

Hint: Guys, this makes a stunning yet affordable Christmas present for your partner!

La Senza French Floozie Babydoll & Brief set, £38
A cheaper but no less gorgeous option is this aptly-named French Floozie set which is definitely inspired by the ubiquitous French maid outfit, but in a much more classy way! Made from black satin and mesh, it features an ivory ruffled lace trim at the hemline and around the cups. There's also a cute gathered lace trim at the back and matching brief included.

La Senza In Control bra £28, waist cincher £14 and brief £16
One of the sexiest pieces of shapewear I've seen, In Control by La Senza features a structured, longline bra with hook-and-eye front, a waist cincher for a tiny waist and big but pretty knickers.

La Senza Paloma Faith bra £30
La Senza Paloma Faith brief £16

Last but not least is this gorgeous Paloma Faith set in emerald green (also available in black). Not designed as shapewear but equally tummy-flattering, the super high-waisted brief with wrap-over and side-tie front are totally unique, as is the matching bra which comes with a halterneck strap (and additional adjustable bra straps). There is also a cute satin teddy in the collection that is perfect for sleeping in! Even better, La Senza are donating £3 from every Paloma Faith bra or teddy and £1 from every knicker sold to Breast Cancer Care charity.

Love Me Sugar luxury eye masks

I've been writing all these blog posts on lingerie and it has suddenly occurred to me how little I've actually written about the gorgeous brands I sell at Esty Lingerie. The majority of the products that I sell are by independent designers from around the globe which means that despite being beautiful, their work is often very difficult or even impossible to find on the high-street! The idea behind Esty Lingerie was to set up a platform that brought together all of these little-known brands along with some better-known ones to create an online lingerie superstore accessible to everyone (worldwide postage is really cheap!) where you really can find everything you want. Independent brands are great when you want something that's totally unique as each design is often handmade in small quantities, plus it also means that you're buying ethically-produced goods and supporting independent design talent!

Today I think I'll tell you a little bit more about Love Me Sugar who were just added to the store recently...

The woman behind the brand is Natalie Vella, Australian-born but now an established Parisienne who has a passion for the cinema and for vintage that's clear to see in her designs. She loves to browse the Parisien flea markets for inspiration and many of her masks are actually made using authentic vintage lace - the perfect mix of old and new! Described by Vella as 'eye lingerie', these masks are both gorgeous and practical. Their elegant design and luxurious fabrics make them the perfect sexy gift for the woman who has everything else in her lingerie drawer (or pick out a matching one to go with an expensive lingerie set - it's the perfect finishing touch to an outfit or gift!) but the comfortable, adjustable fit and the fact that they block out every drop of light also makes them perfect for those times when you just want a bit of peace and rest - pop one on when you're on an aeroplane and you'll not only sleep like an angel, you'll also be the most stylish traveller on board!

These are my favourites but there are plenty more!

Oh-so-girly candy pink and cream mask - Mylene

Sexy blood-red mask with black polkadots & lace - Babette

A fun, flirty, statement design - Kiss Me Sugar

Accessorise your Lingerie with New Look - Week 1

Total Cost - £75.95

For those of you who have been following my blog since the beginning, you'll know that I'm a big advocate for the always-always-match-your-lingerie rule. What I might not have mentioned before though, is that 'matching' lingerie doesn't always have to mean buying the set. Over the next 4 weeks I'm going to use examples from New Look to show you some great ways to have a bit of mix-and-match fun with your lingerie without losing any style points and without breaking the bank!

First up is this animal print bra which is ridiculously cheap at just £6.99 - I thought it looked great paired with some bright turquoise lace shorts that are only £2.99 (yes, that's the full price, they're not on sale!). The gorgeous turquoise and leopard heels by Shelleys at New Look were a perfect match - at £56.99 they're a bit more expensive than I would have liked but they're right on trend for this season and will add a splash of colour to any outfit. Finish the look off with a cute rose hairclip (£3.99 for a set of two) and some ornate, Aztec-style earrings (£4.99) in the same vivid turquoise and your outfit will look so stylish you're not going to want to cover it up with clothes!
